Through this project we wanted to enable passengers to regain the space they have during a long-haul economic flight. By moving the shelf to the bottom of the seat, the passenger has all the space needed to store his or her belongings. The elastic solution allows a flexible and adaptable storage. Our 1:1 scale prototype helped us to confront our ideas with reality and come up with an innovative proposal.
